Yuchen Han, founder of ALIENANT, transcends fashion design by merging personal resilience and spiritual awakening into a global call for empowerment. His journey transforms fashion into a conduit for enlightenment and epochal change.

Amid a difficult childhood marked by his father’s abuse and isolation, Yuchen Han carried a recurring nightmare of a lone ant struggling under a massive grain of rice in a vast white mist. What began as a symbol of pain later became the seed of his creativity, and with Lady Gaga’s fearless artistry sparking his courage, fashion turned into his way of empowerment and a means to uplift others with similar scars.

In 2017, Yuchen entered FIT’s MFA program, carrying with him a decade of devotion to art and fashion, but soon fell into deep depression. Out of that struggle, ALIENANT was born in 2019—rising as a symbol of resilience and hope, turning fashion into armor for the soul and introducing his signature ‘Glitch’ art, which finds beauty and harmony in life’s fragments and imperfections.

ALIENANT’s 2020 NYFW debut marked a triumph soon overshadowed by the COVID-19 pandemic. In the solitude that followed, Yuchen turned to literature and physical transformation as anchors against depression, shaping his path to renewal.

The year 2022 marked a powerful resurgence for ALIENANT, as the brand reemerged with honors like the YU PRIZE and YINGER PRIZE. Collaborations with UGG, Li-Ning, and ByteDance, along with celebrity supporters from Coldplay to Nle Choppa, cemented its global impact and vision.

The 2023 debut of Destroy and Restructure marked Yuchen’s rebirth after a four-year struggle with depression, with his ‘Glitch Puzzle’ culminating in an epiphany that transformed resilience into a call for collective empowerment and spiritual awakening. Under his visionary leadership, ALIENANT has become more than fashion—a gateway and guiding force toward new realms of consciousness and an enlightened future.
