ALIENANT X PHEAGEE（A virtual fashion platform developed by ByteDance)
[Beijing, March 2023] PHEAGEE is a cutting-edge virtual fashion platform under ByteDance, created to explore the intersection of digital identity, fashion, and AI-driven technology. As one of the first New York-based independent designer brands invited to the platform, ALIENANT was commissioned to design an exclusive virtual capsule collection that reimagines spiritual fashion in a digital space.
In this collaboration, we led the creation of four original digital fashion looks that embody ALIENANT’s glitch aesthetic and post-human spirituality. The design concept, Flamacier, introduces a new life form born from ruins after extraterrestrial contact. Fusing ice and fire into one entity, it represents inner conflict, endurance, and rebirth. The burning flame is a symbol of unbreakable spirit—offering courage and transformation to all who wear it, even digitally.
With this project, we aimed to push ALIENANT into new technological territory—bridging immersive fashion with AI, digital ownership, and avatar expression. The collection allowed users to purchase and wear these designs as low-cost digital collectibles within the PHEAGEE app, aligning with Gen Z’s appetite for gamified, expressive, and sustainable fashion experiences. This project also marked a strategic expansion for the brand, positioning ALIENANT at the forefront of China’s fast-evolving virtual fashion market.
